Charter Bus Information

Transportation Services provides the opportunity to charter shuttle buses for your UCCS organization, group, or sponsored event with professional CDL (Commercial Driver License) certified drivers.

 Charter buses are available during the following periods:

• -Available 7-days a week throughout the year, but with limited availability during campus shuttle operating hours.

Charter bus regulations:

• -Three hour minimum charge at the drive time rate.
• -Drive time is determined by Google maps.  All partial hours are rounded up to the next hour.
• -All non-drive time past three hours is charged at the bus wait time rate.
• -All rates include fuel, insurance, and a professional driver.

The general rates as of August 21, 2023 are shown below.  There are additional costs if the charter goes after 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, occurs on a weekend or UCCS observed holiday.  For additional details please email Transportation Services at trans@uccs.edu.

UCCS Charter Bus Passenger List:

All groups reserving a charter bus are required to complete a passenger list just prior to the charter departure time.  This list must include ALL passengers on each bus in case of an emergency.

Payment:

Transportation Services can only accept payment using a University of Colorado Speedtype number.
